Example: prepare a one-page software resume

Choose Resume mode, a single-column layout (Classic, Modern, or Compact), and a theme, then fill contact details, a short professional summary, recent roles with measurable bullets, education, and skills. Turn on Projects or Certifications only when they strengthen the application.

Review the live A4 preview and ATS hints, then use Print / Save as PDF for selectable text when applying through an ATS, or Download PDF when you need a polished visual snapshot. Copy plain text when a portal asks you to paste into form fields.

What to know before you start

• The draft is saved on the current device only; it is not a cloud career profile or application tracker.
• An optional photo stays in the current browser session and is not written into the local draft.
• Download PDF captures the preview as images; Print / Save as PDF keeps selectable text for many ATS systems.
• Sidebar and Banner look stronger visually; Classic, Modern, and Compact remain the safest choices for many ATS uploads.
• Templates and hints do not guarantee interviews, ATS acceptance, or compliance with every employer or country convention.
